Palm Springs

Holla!!! I tink I'm too spoiled..HAHAHA... Every weekend I hv places to visit ^^ Well, one of my friend is going for good so we accompany him to visit places that he wanted to go before going back to Indonesia.
So here we are in Palm Springs. A city full of wind turbines, mountains, and desserts. It's 70F over there and 120 miles away from LA.
Palm Springs is popular for its natural beauty so we decided to take a tram up to the top of the mountain and visit the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. We went to Palm Spring Aerial Tramway which is said to be the largest rotating aerial tram in the world. We hoped to train at 2,643 FT from sea level station to the highest 8,516 FT station!!! We were able to see all the mountains and desserts from the tram. It's so beautiful and the funny thing was the tram sway every station, and all of the passengers were so excited and scream. Just like riding a roller coaster...

:: Here comes our tram , current at 3,300 FT ::

:: 4,500 FT ::
:: Another tram at 5,500 FT ::
:: City of Palm Springs at 7,000 FT ::
:: View from the last station at 8,516 FT ::

Up there, from dessert , we saw snow. a 1FT of snow and it's only 50F. We went inside and have a view of Palm Springs and then we walked down to the State Park. We were taking pictures every 2-5 minutes. hahahaaha.... Beautiful pine trees, rocks, and snow... Others were having fun sleighing and playing with the snow... aaaahhh...what a nice view, everything is white... Winter Wonderland~ We went for a walk instead of snow hiking since we were not well equipped, but it was fun, enjoying the breath-taking scenery and air....

There are also some sort of museums where they show what kind of wildlife out there.

Last but not least, the night scene of Palm Springs
