Balboa Park San Diego

Sunday! Sabbath Day!
Somehow me n my friends have the idea of visiting SaddleBack Church at Lake Forest. Church that is shepherded by Dr. Rick Warren, the book writer of "Purpose Driven Life". It's about an hour drive from downtown LA. Unfortunately we couldn't met him yesterday coz he's out of town for the time being, but the guest speaker of that day is great. God uses him to remind me again to always surrender and put trust in Him. Saddleback is pretty huge... They got a lot of parking spaces, gardens, buildings, and sanctuary. They have at least 4 services at a time. Wow! What a blessings from God for us.

After the service, got a crazy spontaneous idea to go on with the trip to San Diego which is only 1 hour from Lake Forest.hahahaha...so we drove there to have very late brunch at Hash House ago go. Place is pretty cool, comfy, outdoor patio style, western style, and groovy. San Diego is having a festival which is Gay Pride Festival, that's why there are a lot of rainbow flags, banner, balloons all around the city.

Food? They called it twisted farm food...mmmm...yummyy and huge...omg.. I love the scrambled eggs and toast...
Here you go, Andy's Sage Fried Chicken Farm Bennedict and Griddled French Toast :D

Full and ready for nap..hahaha...no nap...we went to visit Balboa Park. It's an urban cultural park. They have performing arts, museums, gardens, attractions, Restaurants, etc.. Feel likes at Barcelona..hoho...The building is kinda Ancient Rome and Greek style which is very attractive.

Backsliding

Anyone can backslide. No one usually plans on doing it. But it starts with making little compromises that lead to big compromises. And next thing you know, you are not in a place you should be.

There'll be a constant change in Christian life. It's a growth progression. Either you are moving forward as a believer, or you are moving backward. Either you are gaining ground, or you are losing ground.

Are you moving forward? If you are not, then you are potentially backsliding. And if you are not where you once were, then you are slipping away. That is why we need to take practical precautions, because anyone can fall away. Anyone can depart from the faith. It doesn't matter how long someone has been a Christian. It doesn't matter how much of the Bible they have memorized. It doesn't matter if God has used them in ministry. Anyone could fall away. And the moment we begin to doubt that is the very moment we are taking a step toward doing it.

"Your own wickedness will correct you, and your backslidings will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing that you have forsaken the Lord your God, and the fear of Me is not in you," says the Lord God of hosts.

Does anybody hear her?

A song from Casting Crowns came to me last night when I was about to sleep. The song really struck me coz I think sometimes we are too comfortable with our group of friends and never see our surroundings. There are a lot of ppl out there in our environment that are in need of care, in need of love but yet we don't notice them. . When they don't find love and care from home, they go out and find their own "care" from the wrong places. When they go wrong, we subconsciously judge their action. ohh who are we to judge? we are not a perfect being too. Does anybody hear their struggles? Does anybody care for what are they trying to do? What are we doing when they need ppl to care for them? God teach us to love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another (John 13:34)

Let's step out of our comfort zone and spread your care and love to others. Don't let them run to the wrong direction...
