Hero, Inc. Musical Production

April 23, 2011

30 mins to 6 PM, Hero, Inc. musical drama is about to start.

Everybody is so nervous since we didn't have a smooth rehearsal few hours before the actual show begins. We were so worried and what we can do is just surrender everything unto God. All casts and crews gathered together on stage with curtain down where out there the seats are starting to be filled in. All of us come with one heart prayed and worshipped Him. We sang so loud that the crews at guests seat can hear singing out loud..hhahaha...we were just so all out and surrender to Him. Praise God, everything went awesome and smooth! The Easter message is passed thru the play. The real meaning where Jesus died for us! His sacrifice for us to be free. Thank You Lord for the cross, thank You Lord for this event that we are here to complete one of our task of spreading the gospel.

Hero, Inc. production started with powerful praise and worship by Frontline Generation and poem by John Mendez and Keisha Untung.

It's Easter Sunday... Easter is for everyone but it is not only about bunnies and brightly colored eggs. It's about Jesus, crucified and risen again from the dead! A hero , I should say a Superhero that save and redeem all mankind! Ur love is amazing! I couldn't think about me myself be crucified for others!! others?!?!! it's like why should I ???? and why would I ????? but God is God, He just so love us that He gave his one and only Son to die for us, to take over our sins, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)

And here I just wanna share a song "HERO"...

Food

Wohooo.... This gonna be my first post with full of food's pictures.. hahaha...Well let's start with a afternoon tea and some sandwiches to accompany the sunny afternoon.

@ Chado Tea House, Pasadena The food here is ok. I like the sandwich with salmon. Chado Tea of course specialized in tea. They have a lot of different kind of teas and from different country! The ambience is nice too. Just a relax place for afternoon tea with your friends if you love tea!

And we continue the day with a dinner and a small dessert @ Gaja, Lomita . Actually Gaja is kinda overrated, with only mmm..shall I say eggs, noodles, mayo, lil piece of meat..hahahaha...but once in a while is ok to taste different foods.

My Birthday

So it was my birthday yesterday! My 24th birthday! I feel so blessed with the presence of friends on my birthday, brother and sister in Christ. Yesterday we had a run-thru for the musical drama so everybody there gave me wishes n hugs... so sweet!!! The day before, my CG members also came to my house and celebrated my birthday, I'm so glad they were there since it's late at night, pass 12 o'clock already I guess... And I'm so happy coz they got me tulips... aooww... God spoke to them I assumed..hahaha... I couldn't get the chance to fly to Seattle to visit the tulip farm that is only open on April every year, but guess what I can see tulips everyday here in my room..hahahaha.... LOVE it!!!

Thank you Guys!! Thank you Lord for Your guidance and unending love and mercy for me!!!

Live a life led by Spirit

I wanna share a lil bit from the 2 weeks ago sermon about Big Church - Big Influence, so it won't be just a sermon of Sunday service and of course everything that we heard and learnt can be implemented into our daily life.

As we read Galatians 5:13-26, it's clearly written our flesh is so full sinful thing and not pleasing Him at all. But when we walk and live led by spirit, the fruit of spirits will grow in us and take over the sinful nature that we have in us. (Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.)

Just take time and reflect on ourselves. We are called to be the light and the salt of the world. How is our "saltiness" influence our environment? Is our light shining in the darkness? Are we showing God's love towards others or our fleshy love (hahaha...i dunno got such words or not) ? Is the fruit of Spirit grows along with our spiritual walk? The love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control? How is our influence as a church (as we r the church itself)? How do we treat others? How is our care to others?

My first day of April

Last friday, on April 1, 2011; when I was working , suddenly I got a phone call from a number of my friend. When I picked up the phone and start talking, the guy asked me if I am related to this A (my friend's name)? I was like mm... what is happening... So I replied yes, then he started to tell me that his name is Kevin and he's from LAPD. He told me that my friend was in an accident on the freeway and right now he's in the emergency room. bla bla bla...I was so shocked! and my heart beat so fast coz I'm scare ...oh man! Then without any thinking, I wanna leave my office and rush to the hospital. My colleague was confused and worried since I was so rush and pale...

Before I leave, I went to fill my water bottle and go to the restroom so that I'm not that panic! While I'm doing that, my mind keeps on thinking what happened to my friend? how come he can get into accident? what should I do with my works that I left today that need to be done?Am I going to make it for dental appointment later at 5? hahaha...then suddenly another phone call from the same number... and I heard "I'm fine...it's April fool's day"

omigosh!!!! I was like.... stunned....freeze...blank....then I was so mad...since the prank is too much! It's about a life of a person..dang! fortunately I haven't left my office yet. IF I were already making my way to the hospital, that guy will be dead by me! hhahaaha....

It's gonna be very memorable april fools prank!!

Hope you guys are not playing that kind of prank even tho it's not april fools coz it's not appropriate... Your life is valuable so don't use for that kind of prank...

Happy April Day!!! I luve April.... since it's my birthday is on April :p
