Trip to Arizona

I went to Arizona for the weekend. Chandler to be more specific. My friends asked me if I wanna join them to AZ to attend grand opening of our previous pastor's church, so I thought AZ...mm..why not! I've never been there and it'll a refreshing short trip. We left LA on friday nite around 8ish and stop 3 times. A lot of trucks on 10 freeway, and the most beautiful view if you have a road trip is the sky! The sky is full of stars which is hard to enjoy in LA..hohoho....

After a long drive, chit chat , sleep; we finally arrived at Phoenix at around 2am... We went to bed directly.
Early Saturday morning, everybody gathered in the kitchen and great the pastor n family since we live in their house. There is this an Indian pastor from Singapore. He is the senior overseer (apostle) of Tabernacle of Holiness Church in Singapore. His name is Rev Dr Amos Jayarathnam. He has the gift of prophecy. We joined the small retreat that this AZ church held with him. We learned about the gift of prophecy and faith. After few sessions, he gave everybody prophecy individually, I was like amazed n shocked for whatever he said! I never met him, never share my struggles but yet he can mentioned about what I did before and he also told me about the path that God wants me to take n put in prayer. Wow!! this pastor is really live by spirit. The prophecy is totally different with other prophecy that I got before. Very specific even there is timeline too..
Everybody has the gift of prophecy even you and me. When you are new born again in Christ, you have the gift. It's you yourself decide wanna use it n exercise it or not. And we have to remember that when we prophesying, it has to be strengthening others not destructing. 1 Corinthians 14:3 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

We have fellowship with the pastor n the church members. It's fun, we chit chat, eat , the pastor is so funny, full of humor and he speaks singlish...

Sunday , in LA is the time for daylight saving but we didn't know that Arizona doesn't have daylight saving.... so in result, some of the guys woke up late. While in pastor's house , there are 7 people waiting wanna use the bathroom.. hahhahaa...
Today is the grand opening of Clay Church. Shepherd by Pstr. Heinthe Tjahja. Blessed with the praise worship session, the words that was shared by Pst. Amos, the fellowship, a lot of families come from everywhere to join the sunday service. They dedicated the church to God..

This is our last day in AZ, we have to drive back in the evening. Before leaving, we visited 1 mall that is said very nice mall in Scottsdale, AZ. The place is pretty nice, very high class, a lot of branded stores, but since we are so tired, we just go 1 round of window shopping and then sit on the couch there and chit chat..hohooho..

Last but not least, if you come to AZ, you have to take picture with the cactus! hohoho...
